(Apr 23, 2007)

On Saturday May 19th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM Smyth’s Trinity Farm located in Enfield Ct will open their barn doors to the public allowing an in depth look at the world of owning and operating a dairy farm. Come see the cows being milked. Kids of all ages will be invited to milk the mechanical dairy cow. See the entire process that evolves from milking these large animals to bottling the milk for sale. Trinity Farms is one of the unique farms in Ct that process their own farms milk on site and sell it in glass milk bottles. These environmentally friendly bottles are then recycled with each return visit to the store. A salesroom is adjacent to the milking barn where yoghurt and butter are also made for sale. Trinity Farms milk is also sold at select local supermarkets within Hartford County.
