Welcome to New London County

New London County Farm Bureau has a mission of raising awareness of agriculture in our 21 towns, and we work through legislative advocacy, market promotion and education .

New London County has more than 63,000 acres of land in farms and aquaculture--more than 775 farms, in fact. It tops the state in poultry and egg production involving more than 100 farms. Aquaculture along our shoreline is an important part of our local industry. New London County also has a large number of farms raising milking cows, livestock and calves. Fruits and berries--including wine grapes and wineries--as well as greenhouse and nursery businesses round out New London County's diverse agricultural offerings.
