Annual Meeting
Voting Delegates elected by the eight county Farm Bureaus will review and vote on policy at the annual meeting, but other members and visitors may observe.

Registration 8-9:00 a.m. Delegates meet through noon, re-convening again after lunch.

Luncheon (12:30 to 1:45 p.m.)


Served hot lunch entree:  Beef Stew made with locally grown vegetables, crusty bread and green salad.

The luncheon will include introduction of special guests including keynote speaker Gregory Weidemann, Dean and Director of the University of Connecticut's College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources.

Social Hour (starts at 5:00 p.m.) and Banquet (6:00 p.m.)

The evening's activities will begin with a social featuring locally produced cheeses, wines, hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.

Guests will enjoy a banquet featuring a choice entrees.  Please select when you make your reservation:

  • Sliced Beef Au Jus
  • Scrod A La Fantasia – Broiled scrod with polenta and red peppers
  • Chicken Parmigiana
  • Eggplant Rollatini (vegetarian)


A short program will follow, including recognition of Nationwide agents who have supported Farm Bureau membership activities. The winners of the Women's Leadership Committee county baskets raffle will be announced.

Activity Throughout the Day:

Starting at 12 noon, please visit exhibits of our supporting business sponsors who will have information on products, services and programs to benefit Farm Bureau members, as well as exhibitors representing our agricultural partners. Delegates who complete their "passports" qualify to win gift cards.

Stop by the Connecticut Agricultural Education Foundation's silent auction and teacup raffle to bid or take a chance on wonderful products and donations.

Take a chance on winning a full- or child-sized hand-painted rocking chair created by the CFBA Women's Leadership Committee. And please be sure to bring your aluminum soda tabs and hotel-sized toiletries to donate to Ronald McDonald House in support of this nationwide effort.

Stop by the CFBA Young Farmer table, too.
